The machine ended its production activity at the previous customer’s site because it was no longer intended for slitting, while still maintaining interesting construction features for a possible new use after overhaul.
The second is a TSW 801/S, year 2012, with a machine width of 1,100 mm and a useful web width of 1,000 mm. In this case, the customer chose to purchase a new machine with a greater useful width, as part of a machine fleet renewal project.
Both cases show how a Temac slitter rewinder can retain its value over time. Even after many years of production, a machine built with reliable components and a solid structure can be recovered, overhauled and placed back on the market.
